Birthing from Within Class

Birthing From Within® classes go beyond what other childbirth classes have to offer. In addition to learning practical information, you will deepen your intuitive knowing through thought-provoking dialogues, pain-coping practices, and creative exercises- including some art! (no “artistic ability” required).

Highlights of What You Will Learn:

Experience birth as a rite of passage
Open your body & mind before and during labour with visualizations and other techniques
Build confidence in yourself and your partner
Ask questions and make decisions in labour

Protect your birth space
Tame your "Birth Tigers” TM
Push your baby out
Welcome your baby
Recover and plan for postpartum and transitioning into parenthood
Care for and feed your newborn
Give birth “from within” even with a Caesarean, while using pain medication, or with medical support.

Fees:

The fee for our Birthing From Within class is $175 as it is offered as a in-home private class only.

The essence of childbirth education is self -discovery, not assimilating obstetric information.

All class participants are invited to use our lending library. We can also provide a reading list of books that are available at city libraries and local book stores.
