Our trained Doulas provide confidential, caring support during pregnancy and birth. This service is available to anyone who is pregnant and wants support during birth. Teens, single mothers, couples and women from all cultural backgrounds benefit from the support of a Doula. MACFE Doulas have experience and are recognized at all Winnipeg maternity hospitals as well as some of the rural facilities. We also offer support at homebirths. MACFE Doula services are provided for a one-time fee of $800. If you are paying by cheque, you can send in 2 cheques with half due immediately and the other half postdated for the due date. If you take a MACFE prenatal class you will receive 10% off the price of a Doula and your total is $720. All repeat clients will also receive that discount. Families who meet low-income criteria are encouraged to contact MACFE for information regarding fee-assistance programs.
